Location: Brevard, NC
Instructors: Les Saucier and Mary Presson Roberts
Limit: 10 participants.
Experience some of the best waterfalls on the planet in and around Brevard, NC, with Les Saucier and Mary Presson Roberts this summer. Both in the field and in the classroom, Les and Mary will teach you the skill of shooting waterfalls, capturing reflections, and looking past the label of "waterfall."
Classroom presentations will help you understand the best camera settings for photographing moving water and how the correct shutter speed can better express how you see the subject, your unique vision, through the lens of your camera. Additionally, you'll learn how to post-process and add creativity to your images, tips on composition, and effective techniques and gear to use in the field.
The highlights of every one of Saucier Photography's workshops are the critiques of participants' work. You'll learn more about your unique vision and creative processing during the two critiques included in this workshop than in any other part of the workshop. Critiques are so important that Les never teaches a workshop without participants' photo critiques.
Expand your vision and see the wonders of waterfalls at Waterfalls Boot Camp this summer with Les and Mary.

Hiking and Exertion -
There isn't much need for hiking unless you choose to do so, as most locations are a short distance from parking areas. Grounds may be uneven at some locations. Participants are responsible for their own transportation during the photo tour, as well as getting to the workshop/photo tour location and returning to your point of origin. We encourage car pooling during the workshop/photo tour when possible.
Trip Insurance -
Trip insurance is highly recommended in the case you need to cancel at the last minute due to family emergency and/or illness. Our cancellation policy is available on our Workshop FAQs page. Each hotel has its own cancellation policy, which you are responsible to be aware of and to follow.
