October 23 – 27, 2019
Location: Brevard, NC
Instructors: Janet Garrity Saucier and Les Saucier
Limit: 10 participants, 8 spots still open.
Our “Art of Seeing” workshops are designed to help you access, and expand, your unique creative vision. The workshops are designed to help you become a better photographer.
In the classroom, you’ll learn how to move beyond the rule of thirds and improve your compositions. You’ll also learn how to use graphic design elements to better catch and hold the viewer’s interest.
In the field, you’ll learn to use your camera’s controls and lenses to emphasize your subject, your vision, to the viewer. Plus, you will learn “Pro Tips” on how to use your gear effortlessly in the field.
The highlights of every “Art of Seeing” workshop are the critiques of students’ work. Students learn more about their unique vision and creative processing during the two critiques included in each workshop than in any other part of the workshop. Critiques are so important that Les never teaches any of his workshops without student photo critiques.
“Art of Seeing” workshops are designed for beginning and experienced photographers who shoot DSLRs or mirrorless cameras. Whether you’ve been shooting for years or only a short time, Saucier Photography's workshops will give you the opportunity to become a better photographer, to enjoy your time shooting more than ever, and to create better images in post processing.
