Location: Charleston, SC

Spring is an incredible time to photograph in Charleston, SC, "The Holy City." From the historic architecture of old Charleston to the beautiful colors of the azalea gardens in the Old South Plantations, the season is bursting with great photo opportunities in Charleston and the area. (As well as great food!) During our Charleston Photo Tour+, you will have the opportunity to photograph spring-time landscapes, intimate landscapes, macro, street photography, and even perhaps a little night photography. We'll also shoot sunrises and sunsets over picturesque marshes and rivers, as weather permits. Then on the last morning of the tour, we'll meet at the hotel's conference room to share images taken during the tour and receive instructional feedback from Janet and Les.
What is our Photo Tour+? You may be asking "Plus what?" The plus is a half-day review and critique of your photo tour images in a classroom setting. This is the big "Plus" - you'll learn a great deal in just a few hours about how to create better images from Les and Janet's feedback, thoughtful critique, and their useful techniques for post- processing.
We hope you'll join us and we look forward to seeing you in Charleston, SC in March! (To view additional images click here.)

There isn't much need for hiking unless you choose to do so, as most locations are a short distance from parking areas. Grounds may be uneven at some locations. Trip Insurance -
Trip insurance is highly recommended in the case you need to cancel at the last minute due to family emergency and/or illness. Our cancellation policy is available on our Workshop FAQs page. Each hotel has its own cancellation policy, which you are responsible to be aware of and to follow.
